Subject: A long strange trip..
I was 16 and I remember 'World Theater' had just opened. Security was not too good and we stormed gates and got in. I remember being so thrilled to finally be in, since it was one of the only shows that tour I couldn't ticket for. RIP Brent

long STRANGE trip,Brent's last show here marks the 10th anniversary of Keith Godchaux's death strange indeed rest and JAM in peace brothers thanks for everything...if she don't really love me there aint no reason to stick around. you know it's gonna get stranger,that both Jerry's and Brent's last shows were in IL.

Subject: what a fool i was for not going all 3 nights
first night of this run was my first ever - lightning right between the eyes! man ... and it still gets me that i only got tickets for 1 night because - of all things - i had work on Monday ... the fool i am! Brent was the best.

Subject: brent goes nuts!
i was a 19 year-old 3 years "converted if you will" and somehow i managed to get in the 2nd row right between bobby and jerry. it was a very surreal vibe even without psy assistance which i didnt do that night. but brent's energy was completely out there, i couldnt believe how ballistic he went during good times, that was probably my highpoint and the weird look of garcia staring at/through you above his dark glasses. oh yeah and blowing bubbles on stage while seeing billy and mickey laugh about it.
it was very hard for me to believe when i heard the bad news about brent a couple days later. he was so alive! well the music's out there its all in/out there
